i LIKE YOUR SAMPLES. I AM SOWING AND TEACHING TEENAGERS TO SEW, WHO ARE IN OUR CHURCH THERAPY AS FOSTER CHILDREN OR IN RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT WITH THEIR DRUG, ALCOHOL OR SEX ADDICTED MOTHER. WE ALSO HAVE CHILDREN IN TREATMENT. SOMETIMES A QUILT IS THE FIRST THING THAT THEY HAVE ECER OWNED THEMSELVES. YOU SHOULD SEE THEIR FACES LIGHT UP TO HAVE THEIR OWN QUILT. AND THE TEES SELF ESTEEM GETS A BIG BOOST FROM THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENT. MY QUESTION: HOW MUCH MATERIAL IS NEEDED FOR A LAZY DAZY (THE FOUR SQUARE) INSTEAD OF THE MULTIPLE TRIANGLES TO MAKE A QUEEN OR KING SIZE QUILT. THE GIRLS ARE FACINATED WITH THE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS AND KALEIDOSCOPE. SINCE I VOLUNTEER 40+ HOURS, TO SEE THE KIDS EXCITED IS REWARDING.
