New Ideas, New Classes!
Our fall newsletter is out, and we'd love to show you samples of just a few of the knitting and quilting classes we have going on in the next few weeks.

Note as you go that the newsletter came back from the printer a bit later than we had planned, so we have some changes in start dates for the next week... Whenever we start later, we'll add a class in consultation with everyone on the first day of the class.

First, beginning knitting will start on September 17. We'll choose a second date in the class so that it will work for everyone. Call us, sign up, and learn to knit!

Next is "Buried Treasure." This is a great lap-sized quilt. We love it done in batiks! The class will start this week, Sept. 13.

The bears in Knitting for Peace are completely cute. Please join the class, which will start on September 15, and learn how to make this easy, adorable bear!

This spiral-ribbed hat class will start on September 11:

The first fair-isle headband class will start on Sept. 13. Believe it or not, you will almost finish your headband in 3 hours!

The first day of the Einstein coat will be September 24. Join us to make this classic coat!

Want to learn how to quilt? Join us for the placemats class, starting September 18.

The coolest paper-pieced wallhanging, Yardbirds Circling the Cat, will be on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 6-9 and Oct. 7 from 1-5 (Note: This is one 2-session class that meets at both of these times.)

And don't forget our all-day workshop at the Friends School on Saturday, September 29. You get your choice of these two projects, Big Quilt II or 4-patch Stack and Whack. Come and see our samples in person; pictures don't do them justice. You'll love them!
